In The Eyes of Aoki Jun

Aoki Jun, a talent Japanese architect, has impressed the public with his extraordinary design for series of Louis Vuitton stores. In this lecture, he would introduce each of his projects from the very first one to the latest, so the audience could have a whole picture of his design history and the idea behind it. Compared to Tokyo, he sees Taipei as a city with richer culture resources and stronger city personality. Based on this, he expects Taipei open up its own way to reach city transformation – more human and environment-friendly.

About the speaker

Aoki Jun is a Japanese architect and established his own studio in 1991 focus on doing "anything that seems interesting". His works cover from a series of houses, public architecture and fashion boutiques. Besides, he also shows his creation as an artist while exhibiting the artwork, U bis, in the National Museum of Modern Arts, Tokyo.
