2012/03/02-2012/04/08

The tragedy of the Great East Japan Earthquake still thrill the people and remind our human beings, not only in Japan, to reflect on the relationship with environment and the value of living. Initiated by the NPO, Command N, the WAWA Project operates as a platform to support and connect those engaged in the landscape regeneration in East Japan and to gather more resource and sponsors for people in need through media communication. This exhibition consists of 15 interviews with regeneration leaders and more than 70 introductions of supporting projects, activities and events, so that visitors could fully acknowledge that what kind of roles of those artists, architects and designers have played in a year after the earthquake. At the same time, this exhibition is also simultaneously presented in Artsonje Center in Seoul, Korea and 3331 Arts Chiyoda in Tokyo, Japan, expecting to encourage more people to discuss what kind of support is truly required while facing the tremendous disaster  - the global issue we should all be aware of.
